Kylie Jenner’s Pregnancy Could Put Her Relationship with Travis Scott in Danger (EXCLUSIVE)
“Regrettably, most empirical research shows that most couples experience a decrease in positive interaction, increase in conflict, and a small to moderate decline in relationship satisfaction after the birth of their first child,” said Dr. Danielle Forshee, Psy.D., a doctor of psychology and licensed clinical social worker who specializes in high-conflict situations such as relationship and marital problems. “With this being said, there are some things Kylie and Travis can do to mitigate the risk they will fall susceptible to these pitfalls.”
So, what can they do to keep their romance alive after the baby comes? Dr. Danielle Forshee, Psy.D., explained they must be dependable and stimulate attachment hormones. “Kylie and Travis are on the path to holding optimistic views of each other, feeling happier with themselves and in the relationship, and are likely to be more understanding of each other during times of stress,” she shared, adding they “should ensure they hold hands, hug, and kiss regularly.”
“Engaging in any of these acts for up to 10 seconds in duration is likely to help stimulate both Kylie and Travis’s brain to produce vasopressin and oxytocin, resulting in increased feelings of connectedness and desirability toward each other,” she continued.
